Frank Lampard has admitted that he was playing on ‘auto-pilot’ at Chelsea and needed to start all over at Manchester City.
The former England international, 36, is already regarded as one of the best Premier League midfielders ever, but he has now opened up on how he slipped into the comfort zone, as his time at Stamford Bridge came to an end.
Lampard, who scored a late leveller against his former side on Sunday, spent 13 years as a Chelsea player.
